Also, I've decided that I like the idea of Cruise Control, but can't actually stand the feeling of not having control of the vehicle. I attempted to use it last night to relieve my poor legs, but it freaked me out so I had to abandon that idea.

So...

this weekend was fun but MY LEGS ARE KILLING ME!

I didn't make it to Amanda, Sara and Margeaux's Grad party friday because as I was walking out the door to head over, my sister texts me that her plane landed an hour early. So sadness there.

Saturday was my cousin and sister's party in Moorpark and that was general good times. I got to see my dad's side of the family and I danced for about 4 hours straight. It was so much fun! I also got to play with the DJ equipment and it was addicting.

Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that you should not follow up a late night of dancing with an early morning drive to San Diego (and return trip, of course). MY CALVES!!!!

My aunt's baby shower was interesting. There was some stuff that I didn't try just because I am a picky eater, but it was all basically finger food, so we were pretty hungry afterward. I also though that we weren't playing games, but we played two. The first one required you to guess her waist size by cutting a piece of "Tummy Tape" (looks like police tape, but is for shower games). Emily cut a piece that was exactly the same size as the one they measured my aunt with. So she won an oil lamp. The second game was guessing how many M&Ms were in a baby bottle bank. My grandma won that one. She guessed 1400 and it was 1436. So now she has 1436 M&Ms in a baby bottle bank.

My fave part was, of course, the opening of the presents. The clothes were all so freakin' adorable! I can't wait for this baby to come so I can go visit all the time. It was nice to see my Mom's side of the family, too. Especially my grandma, who looks sooooooo much healthier now that she lives in an assisted living complex.

All in all, it was an awesome weekend, which hopefully will continue with the Greek Festival and trip to Chumash tomorrow. Time to gamble before my return to school on Tuesday.

I'm watching my big fat greek wedding. Its so precious and awkward. I should work for a travel agency and maybe then I'd end up with a hottie like John Corbett.

That's what parents are for...

I love my mom and the certainty that if she has her wallet open and I stick out my hand, she will put money in it.

Thanks for the ten dollars Mom!...oh, and for lunch :)

Hitting the scene tonight
ratio of guys to girls doesn’t look promising.
Ha! Understatement of the century: “you’re life
so far seems to revolve around who’s buying
the next shot”. In the dark
he’s not so bad looking. That I won’t consider
the plan to leave before last call seems off-putting
to some members of my posse. I have a problem
saying no to free alcohol. Is not cool,
this “intervntion” carp in bar. Seems higly irergular
that I’m abble to typ when drunk. Is a sign
form heaven in a par of levis *drool*
I wnder…

                   What happened last night?

I suck at school. But that's okay, cause I have a great personality!

I hope.
